Many manufacturing plants use steam in their technological processes. For example, in the food industry, in poultry farms, steam is used for steaming chicken carcasses, so that it would be easier to remove the plumage. For these purposes, enterprises install steam boilers of various capacities, depending on the required amount of steam and its pressure.
However, for heating the administrative buildings, as well as for the hot water supply system, it is necessary to obtain hot water as a heat carrier. This problem is solved by installing heat points, where steam is condensed in plate or shell-and-tube heat exchangers manufactured by OPEKS, heating the coolant-water for heating and hot water systems. Steam regulation is carried out by means of control valves with electric or pneumatic drive .
The temperature in the heating system is maintained according to a schedule that depends on the outdoor temperature. The controller in the control cabinet monitors temperature changes and sends a control signal to the actuator to correct the valve position, changing the steam flow to the steam condenser and maintaining the set temperature of the coolant in the system.
Engineers of our company use the following valves to control Danfoss, Clorius, Belimo, KFM, Yoshitake and others, depending on the customer's wishes or requirements for control valves in terms of position rate, actuator type, maximum operating pressure and temperature, and other parameters.
