How to achieve a high density of valves?
Specialists of our company, carrying out the next service work on mechanical cleaning with disassembly of the steam plate condenser THERMAKS PTA (GC) -30, encountered a problem that the installed shut-off valves , which were supposed to shut off the steam supply to the heat exchanger, do not hold steam. The inability to completely shut off the steam supply with a high temperature of about 160 C and a pressure of about 5 bar g created considerable difficulties with the maintenance of our steam condenser. A similar situation can be with the shutdown of the supply of the coolant water or compressed air. Realizing how reliable the shut-off valves for steam should be, we entered into a contract for official representation with a well-known European manufacturer - the Spanish company BVALVE. The first step of cooperation was a large supply of globe-sealed globe valves. Our warehouse has already been replenished with valves of the most common diameters (from DN15 to DN100), for non-standard requests we will provide prompt delivery from the manufacturer's warehouse. The production capabilities of the company allow producing valves with bellows seal up to DN300.
One of the most important advantages of the BV series bellows-sealed valves is the special patented stainless steel bellows. Due to its multi-layer (2-layer, 3-layer and 4-layer, depending on the valve diameter) and elongated design, the bellows is designed for at least 10,000 working cycles without destruction. The bellows is welded to the valve stem, this additionally protects the structure from vibrations emanating from the valve disc, thereby extending the service life.
The plunger is tapered. The tight fit of the disc to the valve seat increases tightness, and the ability to rotate 360 ° gives the working surface of the plunger the ability to self-clean from a variety of impurities and contaminants. Non-resettable thicker stem with screw thread, increases operational safety, while also protecting the valve from blockage.
Internal driving parts are made of high strength stainless steel grades. This allows the use of shut-off and control valves with a bellows seal BVALVE in a wide range of pressures (PN16, PN25, PN40) and temperatures (-60 - +400 ° C), as well as with different media: steam, gases, water, thermal oil and others. ...
