During the diagnostics of the steam condensate equipment of the enterprise engaged in the processing of sunflower seeds, the specialists of the OPEKS ENERGOSYSTEMA company identified problems in the operation of the steam traps installed on the braziers, namely, a large amount of passing steam in the condensate line.

To eliminate this problem, the specialists of our company have selected other Japanese float-type steam traps , which are supplied by OPEKS ENERGOSYSTEMY.

After installing new steam traps in the amount of 8 pcs. it was revealed that the initial start-up and heating of the frypot is faster due to the rapid air discharge through the bypass discharge channel of non-condensable gases of the condensate trap due to the built-in air removal valve. In addition, after the repeated diagnostics of the installed steam traps, it was revealed that there was no passing steam at the outlet to the condensate header. The use of new Japanese steam traps also made it possible to reduce the steam consumption for equipment by an average of 280 - 310 kg / h, which gave a tangible economic effect.

In the future, it is planned to replace all existing steam traps at the enterprise with the help of specialists from OPEKS ENERGOSYSTEMA.
