Supply of heat exchangers manufactured by OPEX for a 120 MW boiler house

Four separating heat exchangers of the THERMAKS PTA (GX) -100 model were manufactured and supplied for a city boiler house with a total capacity of 120 MW. The temperature schedule of each heat exchanger is adapted to the design schedule of the boiler 130/80 C and the heating network 70 / (110-115) C.

The use of high-quality OPEKS heat exchangers in boiler houses allows separating the circuit of a modern new boiler house, with expensive boilers, from the circuit of the old heating network. Thus, high quality treated water circulates in the boiler room circuit, which does not cause deposits and contamination on the surfaces of new boilers, extending their service life and efficiency, while a lower quality coolant can circulate in the other circuit. Both coolants circulate independently without mixing. Heat exchangers of the THERMAKS PTA series have a completely demountable design, which allows them to be disassembled and cleaned from dirt and deposits.

Each OPEKS heat exchanger is equipped with a highly efficient heat exchange surface of the Ultraflex type, which eliminates the formation of stagnant zones and powerful seals designed for many years of operation.
