The OPEKS ENERGOSYSTEMY company has supplied an air heat exchanger (air heater) of the HW 5050-2.1 / 700 type. The heater was manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the design organization.
A technical task was set for the engineers of our company: with superheated steam with a temperature of 350 C and an overpressure of 13 kgf / cm2, it is necessary to heat atmospheric air to a temperature of +30 C for the customer's technological process.
Taking into account the high temperature of the superheated steam, the specialists of OPEKS ENERGOSYSTEMA proposed a solution to this problem using an intermediate shell-and-tube condenser of their own production. Thus, the system was equipped with two heat exchangers - a condenser and a heater . Steam with a mass flow rate of 200 kg / h condenses in a shell-and-tube condenser OPEKS 3 - LS113 - 100 - 0.73H - S1, thereby heating water with a mass flow rate of 2.16 t / h from 70 C to 115 C.
Heater drawing HW 5050-2.1 / 700
Water, leaving the condenser with a temperature of 115 C, enters the heater, where its task is to heat 5220 nm3 / h of atmospheric air from a temperature of -30 C to + 30 C. The heated water enters the piping system of the air heater built into the air duct. Atmospheric air moves at a speed of about 2.96 m / s and, participating in the process of heat exchange, is heated in the heater to the required temperature. The air temperature can be regulated by changing the heating water flow rate.
Heater power 114 kW, surface area - 46.11 m2, volume - 4.35 liters.

The heater supplied by OPEKS ENERGOSYSTEMY has been successfully installed at the customer's site.
For the correct selection of a heater, it is necessary to know the flow rate and temperature regime of the air, aerodynamic resistance, as well as data on the coolant in the pipe system (temperature graph, flow rate, operating pressure of the medium). Send us questionnaires with the above initial data and our engineers will make a qualified selection of the equipment you need.
