Block graphite heat exchangers

Block-type graphite heat exchangers are also widely used in various heat exchange processes between aggressive media. Usually they work in processes in which only one of the media is aggressive, but if heat exchange is required between two aggressive media, then the side pressure plates are covered with special graphite plates. Block graphite heat exchangers are designed for installation in any spatial position. They can be used in absorption, evaporation and condensation processes, processes requiring a multi-pass heat exchanger design. The shape of the graphite heat exchanger blocks can be round or rectangular.

Block graphite heat exchangers are designed for operation at temperatures up to 200 ° C as standard and operating pressures up to 7 bar (higher pressures on request). The maximum number of blocks in a heat exchanger can be up to 15 pcs. Maximum heat exchange area up to 850 m2. Diameter of the flow area for medium from 10 to 20 mm.
