Hydromodules, OPEKS

Hydromodules are designed to ensure uninterrupted circulation of coolant in refrigeration systems, air conditioning, and heating systems of various facilities. The units consist of pumps and a storage tank, and to ensure uninterrupted automatic operation, great importance is attached to the control and protection system. The calculation of the Hydromodule is performed depending on the tasks and requirements set by the Customer. The main elements when choosing an effective unit are the number of pumps or tanks. The Hydromodule can have several circuits, the number of pumps is unlimited and many different additional elements and options. Hydromodules use reliable, highly efficient pumps with high efficiency and low energy consumption, and membrane tanks are used to compensate for the thermal expansion of the coolant.

Hydromodules are also successfully used to optimize chiller operation. To ensure stable operation of the unit and energy savings, the chiller's Hydromodule must first of all be present in the system. Without it, it will be difficult to achieve balanced circulation.

Figure 1 shows the basic diagram of the hydraulic module. Hydraulic modules are manufactured on a separate frame, the body of the structure has a protective casing. The hydraulic module consists of an accumulation tank, an expansion tank, one or more water pumps, a filter, and adjustment valves. The composition also includes filling and drain valves, automatic air vents, and a safety valve. The hydromodule is equipped with an electric control cabinet with a protective cover for outdoor placement.

Hydromodules are equipped with standard pressure pumps of 1-2 bar or high-pressure pumps of 2-3 bar. Depending on the capacity of the chiller or the total capacity of the chillers, the pump capacity and the capacity of the storage tank are determined.
