Function
The switching of the three functions (pressure reduction function, bypass function and shut-off function) is carried out using the operating rods on the inlet and outlet side and the direction of the arrow to a specific point on the plate. Refer to the illustration to the right for the correct arrow setting and fluid flow for each function. (In the picture, the arrow is in the position for the pressure reduction function)

Shut-off function
- The combination of pressure relief, bypass and shut-off function saves cost and space.
- Provides a wide range of pressure regulation in the water supply system.
- Parts of the flow path are made of corrosion-resistant material, which eliminates the presence of rusty water.
- The pressure balanced design of the valve allows the reduced pressure to be kept constant without being influenced by the inlet pressure.
- By opening only the top of the valve, maintenance and inspection is easy.

This graph shows the change in reduced pressure when the pressure of 0.6 MPa at the valve inlet begins to fluctuate between 0.15 MPa and 1.0 MPa, while the reduced pressure is set at 0.1 MPa.
