Shell and tube graphite heat exchangers

The design of shell-and-tube heat exchangers allows them to be used in vapor condensation processes requiring a vertical arrangement of equipment, in processes requiring minimal pressure loss at high flow rates (the area of the heat exchange surface of a tube heat exchanger can exceed 2000 m ² ), in the case when the media contain abrasive particles subject to strong erosion other types of heat exchangers. This type of heat exchanger is more resistant to water hammer due to the greater strength of the pipes.

Shell and tube graphite heat exchangers are designed to operate at temperatures up to 180 ° C as standard (with some types of graphite up to 200 ° C) and operating pressures up to 6 bar as standard (higher pressures on request). The length of the pipes is supplied as standard from 1 to 9 m.
